The story of Dennis Smith Jr is a very interesting one. The lottery pick out of North Carolina State was drafted by Marc Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks, a team at the time looking to build for the future. In his rookie year, Smith averaged about 15 points a game, on 39.5% shooting, 31% from beyond the arc. Smith eventually became a big part of the Mavericks rotation in 2017, and then 2018 came around.

the Rams are the most “meh” team to watch in the playoffs
The Rams pulled an upset off against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in the playoffs, and now move on to face the Packers. They don’t have much firepower on offense like the rest of the teams in the playoffs, and therefore just aren’t an exciting team to watch. Do Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey make up for that?
A New MLB Powerhouse emerges.
San Diego. A city that has often been thought of as a joke and embarrassment to sports. The Chargers were relocated to Los Angeles due to issues regarding Qualcomm Stadium, and also never won a Super Bowl during their tenure in SD. The Padres have been to the World Series before, but have never come out victorious. Rumors surfaced of potentially re-locating the Padres as well, which would leave San Diego with no professional sports team. But, it never happened and it seems like San Diego is back in business. The Padres weren’t a “highlight reel” team to watch during the 2010s, but they then got Fernando Tatis Jr, Manny Machado, and two elite pitchers joining them for the 2021 campaign.
