After the first round concluded, the results have come in from the simulation. There were upsets, and blowouts. Here are the final results: (The series MVPs were determined by RTT when looking at the statline.)
Eastern Conference:
- Brooklyn vs 8. Philadelphia
Game 1: NETS

Series conclusion: The Nets clearly had an advantage on both sides of the ball, as they had better talent by a longshot. Game 3 featured an overtime dual, but Brooklyn came away with the win. This sweep has knocked the 76ers out of the playoffs, and moved the Brooklyn Nets into the second round.

- Milwaukee vs 7. Miami
Game 1: BUCKS
Game 2: BUCKS
Game 3: BUCKS
Game 4: HEAT
GAME 5: BUCKS

Series conclusion: The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Miami Heat in five games. For the first two games, the Heat didn’t put up much of a fight. 3 of the Bucks wins were by double digits. Because Miami didn’t come alive until the last two games, the Bucks got it their way.

Series conclusion: Despite a lack of major talent, the Indiana Pacers were still able to make some noise in this series. However, the Most Improved Team of the season showed their power for the rest of the way. The Pistons won three straight and eventually closed out the series.

Series conclusion: The only upset in the first round of the eastern conference featured the Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics. These two teams battled it out in seven games, with the Magic winning the last two to secure their spot in the second round.
